NEW DELHI:
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Tiruchirappalli, will conduct the IIM CAP 2022 for admission to MBA/ PGP programmes offered by the new IIMs. The Common Admission Process (CAP) is a single-point selection process for all participating IIMs. The CAT 2021 score is the prime selection criterion for CAP 2022 for admission to new IIMs. The baby IIMs participating in the CAP shortlist candidates based on CAT 2021 percentile and other factors and send the list of shortlisted candidates to the CAP conducting institute for the WAT-PI process. The IIM CAP application process 2022 will begin tentatively in the last week of January 2022.

The IIM admission process for the nine new IIMs involves the same selection process as the older IIMs, namely the Written Ability Test (WAT)/ Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Qualifying CAT 2021 cut off and weightage of selection parameters are also common to these nine IIMs.

Steps to register for IIM CAP 2022
Candidates wishing to register for CAP 2022 are advised to follow the procedure below.
Step 1: To register for IIM CAP 2022, students have to visit the official website.
Step 2: Next, find and click the "Register Now" link.
Step 3: Then fill the IIM CAP 2022 registration form with the required valid details.
Step 4 : Upload all the essential documents in a prescribed format and size.
Step 5: Finally, submit the completed IIM CAP application form 2022 and save it for your future reference.
IIM CAP 2022: Shortlisting criteria
Below are the minimum cut-offs of the CAT percentile required in each section and the overall percentile for the shortlisted candidates for the CAP 2022 personal interview.
