NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) is set to host the 30th edition of its annual business festival, AVARTAN 2024 starting tomorrow, December 9. The four-day event will be attended by industry professionals and experts from academia who will engage in a series of events, conclaves, and workshops.
These events held at the festival will explore strategies for upskilling management students and help them align their career choices with future industry demands.
The event will include participation from over 250 corporates, 25+ CXOs, and more than 8,000 B-school students.
According to IIM Mumbai's statement, Avartan 2024 continues to reflect IIM Mumbai's vision of leading the knowledge-driven productivity movement, preparing students to meet the challenges of the modern business world.

In addition, the event will also feature specialized workshops such as Ekatva: A Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Workshop on December 10, and Investor Awareness Programme on December 10, and 11 mainly designed to equip students with the knowledge needed to navigate the complex corporate landscape, the IIM Mumbai statement said.
“AVARTAN, with its 29-year legacy, has become one of the most sought-after annual business fests in the country,” the IIM Mumbai statement adds.
The festival will include national-level competitions such as the Prerana General Quiz, Lakshiwz, and On The Job Achievers’ Contest-OJAC for students.
The highlights of the events will include participation from keynote speakers and conclaves including Prerana Business Meet, Supply Chain Management Conclave, and Green Lantern Sustainability Conclave on December 9; Prerana Strategy Conclave, Prerana Product Management Conclave and Prerana HR Conclave on December 11.
