IIM Mumbai's PG diploma for mid-senior level professionals costs Rs 16.32 lakh; admission opens for 35 seats

IIM Mumbai's PG Diploma Programme: Candidates who have obtained a BTech or BE degree, and have 4 to 10 years of work experience are eligible to apply.
The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has started admissions for its post graduate diploma programme in general management. The PG diploma for Executives-Visionary Leadership for Manufacturing Programme (PGDEx-VLFM) is a one-year full-time residential course that will cost Rs 16,32,000.
The programme will be jointly conducted by IIM Mumbai and IIT Delhi for mid and senior-level management professionals . Eligible candidates can apply for the diploma programme through the official website at iimmumbai.ac.in by November 29.
Candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in technological (BE or BTech) discipline, along with working experience of 4 to 10 years across various domains such as manufacturing, operations, consulting are eligible to apply for the diploma programme.

PG Diploma in General Management
As per the selection criteria, candidates will be admitted after a three-stage process, including online application (leadership profiling), aptitude test, and personal interview.
“It caters to managers aspiring to upskill for greater cross-functional influence and leadership responsibilities within their organizations. The classes will be conducted online as well as offline at IIM Mumbai’s campus," the institute said in an official statement.
The course curriculum includes interactive lectures, case study methods, group activities and role plays, management games, and engagement-focused teaching for practical learning, along with exposure to real-world scenarios.
The duration of the course is 1,300 plus contact hours with a strong focus on manufacturing technology, operations, supply chain, strategy and leadership. It also includes 8 weeks of industrial internship in India and abroad, along with 2 weeks of international visits and industry treks.

IIM Mumbai, IIT Delhi joint programme PGDEx-VLFM
Faculties from IIM Mumbai, IIT Delhi, confederation of Indian industry’s Gurukul, International academia and industry leaders will be conducting classes for the diploma course.
There are a total of 35 seats for the diploma course. Seats are available for sponsored candidates from reputed organizations across the globe. Those candidates should meet the eligibility criteria. They should have to fill out the sponsorship form available on the admission portal and attach the letter of sponsorship from their organization.
The batch will begin from mid-April 2026, according to the official statement.

Fee Structure for IIM Mumbai, IIT Delhi
Total fee charges for PG diploma programme at IIM Mumbai costs approximately Rs 11 lakh, whereas the course fee at IIT Delhi is Rs 5.25 lakh for a duration of one year.
