IIM Mumbai launches executive AI programmes; applications open at iimmumbai.ac.in

Hybrid executive programmes combine online learning, campus modules and capstone projects for senior professionals
The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has launched two executive certificate programmes on digital transformation and AI and strategic sales and AI-drive marketing for working professionals. The course has been designed in partnership with TeamLease EdTech.
Applications for upcoming batches are currently open at immumbai.ac.in. The programmes are targeted at “senior managers, consultants, business leaders, sales and marketing professionals, technology leaders, and entrepreneurs”, the press release noted.
The newly announced programmes are designed for experienced professionals, senior managers, and business leaders seeking to lead organisations through “technology-led change, market disruption, and evolving customer dynamics,” the release added.
Both programmes follow a hybrid learning format, combining weekend live online sessions, immersive on-campus modules at IIM Mumbai, and a capstone project.

IIM Mumbai: Courses focus on AI-led transformation
The programmes are structured to provide hands-on exposure to real-world applications of artificial intelligence, data-driven strategy, Industry 4.0 frameworks, digital value creation, advanced sales strategy, and AI-enabled marketing decision-making, the press release noted. Participants will engage closely with IIM Mumbai faculty, industry practitioners, and peer professionals from diverse sectors, fostering applied learning, rich learning exchanges, and strong professional networks.
The Executive Certificate Program on Digital Transformation & AI focuses on enterprise-wide transformation, strategic alignment of emerging technologies, business model innovation, operational excellence, and leadership in a digital economy.
The Executive Certificate Program in Strategic Sales and AI-Driven Marketing equips participants with modern frameworks to drive revenue growth, optimise go-to-market strategies, leverage AI for customer insights, enhance sales effectiveness, and build data-led marketing organisations in competitive markets, the release stated.
Commenting on the launch, programme coordinators Purnima S. Sangle, Rofin T M and Jasashwi Mandal said they were “excited to launch these programs at IIM Mumbai as organizations navigate accelerating digital disruption and rapidly evolving markets.”
They added that the certificates equip participants with the “strategic mindset, practical frameworks, and applied skills needed to harness AI, lead transformation, and drive sustainable growth.”
Shantanu Rooj, Founder and CEO of TeamLease EdTech, said the collaboration reflects “a shared commitment to building leadership capability at the intersection of technology, strategy, and market execution,” adding that the programmes are industry-relevant, outcome-oriented, and aligned with real-world challenges faced by senior professionals.
Participants who successfully complete the programmes will be eligible for Executive Alumni status at IIM Mumbai, the release noted.
