IIM Raipur CAT cut-off 2024 drops for general category; selection criteria, admission process changes
CAT Cut-off 2024: IIM Raipur has allotted 50% percentage weightage to entrance exam scores in MBA selection process 2025.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) declared the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 result on December 19. The IIM Raipur has announced the MBA admission criteria 2025. Recently, the IIM Raipur has notified admission process changes. IIM Raipur has announced its exit from Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025.
The IIM Raipur CAT cut-off (eligibility) for general category was 92 percentile in 2023. However, this year, the IIM Raipur CAT 2024 cut-off for General category has reduced by 2 percentile points. The IIM Raipur MBA cut-off 2025 has increased for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) by 10 percentiles.
As per IIM Raipur admission policy 2025, CAT 2024 index scores have been given 50% weightage. The IIM Raipur final selection 2025 will be based on CAT 2024 score, Personal Interview (PI), work experience, Group Discussions (GD) scores, and profiles score. As per IIM Raipur, the profile score will be calculated based on academic institution, professional qualifications, and certifications.
IIM Raipur Admission Policy 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a look at the eligibility criteria for IIM Raipur admission 2025 below.
- Candidates belonging to General category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC) are required to have completed their graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks in total aggregate or its equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disabilities (PwD) are required to score 50% in graduation.
- Final-year students provisionally admitted are required to submit their final year mark sheet and degree certificate by June 30, 2025.
- Candidates not holding a graduation degree but have completed CA, CMA(ICWA) or CS are required to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

IIM Raipur Admission 2025: Shortlisting for PI and GD
Candidates who meet the CAT 2024 cut-off, academic requirements will be eligible for shortlisting for the Personal Interview (PI) stage. Candidates will be shortlisted for PI and GD based on CAT 2024 index score, SSC, HSC, gender diversity and academic diversity.
As per IIM Raipur, the CAT 2024 index score will be determined using the scaled percentiles from the three sections and overall percentile, each given equal weight. The Class 10 percentage score will be computed based on the total marks obtained across all subjects listed on the marksheet, regardless of whether the board includes them in its percentage calculation.
The GD and PI for IIM Raipur's MBA admission 2025 will be conducted in eight cities- New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Guwahati, and Raipur. Candidates will be able to select their interview city during the registration process. The interviews will be conducted in the month of February.

IIM Raipur selection process 2025
The IIM Raipur's final selection process 2025 will be based on composite score. The composite score will be calculated based on Class 10 and 12 marks, CAT 2024 index scores, PI, GD, work experience, profile scores. The table below details the weightage assigned to each parameter:
