IIMA Placement records 100 percent placement in PGP FABM batch
In the virtual placement season at IIM-Ahemdabad, 47 students bagged internship offers across different sectors.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM)- Ahmedabad saw a 100 percent placement in the summer placement season conducted for the PGP-FABM (Post-Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management) class of 2022.
In the virtual placement season, 47 students bagged internship offers across different sectors. The internship will be conducted between May and June next year.
A total of 37 recruiters participated in the summer placement drive at IIM Ahmedabad. Companies hired in the sectors like commodities, food supply chain, food industry, agri consulting, e-commerce, agri inputs, retail among others.
The highest number of students got internship offers in the agri-inputs sector with 10 offers followed by food processing and operation each offering nine internship opportunities to IIM-A students.
Other sectors like agri-processing offered eight internships and FMCG made six offers.
According to IIMA, many new recruiters also showed interest in the batch, which saw the participation of industry giants like Yes Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Amplus Solar, Bayer, Corteva, Olam, East-West Seeds, DCM Shriram, IFF, Emami, Roquette, FMC, Bayer, UPL, Modern Food, Everest Instruments, MSC, TCS, Nutreco and FieldFresh, among others.
