IISER begins IAT registration 2025 for undergraduate admissions

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has started the registration process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025. Eligible aspirants can fill the IISER application form 2025 by visiting the official website, iiseradmission.in. The last date for IISER registration 2025 is April 15, 2025.

As per the IAT 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with science stream from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. Foreign Nationals are required to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) unless they fulfill the criterion.

Students must have taken at least three subjects among biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics during Class 12. While applicants belonging to the SC, ST, PwD categories are required to score a minimum of 55% marks, others need to obtain at least 60% marks in aggregate.

In order to register, candidates applying under the general, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 whereas Persons with disabilities (PwD), persons registered as Kashmiri migrants/Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu families (Non-Migrant) and SC, ST applicants will have to make payment of Rs 1,000. The application fee for foreign nationals is Rs 12,000.

How to apply for IISER IAT 2025?

Aspirants can follow the steps given below to fill the IISER IAT application form 2025:

• Go to the official website, iiseradmission.in
• Scroll down and click on the link ‘Apply for IAT 2025’ on the homepage
• Read the instructions and move on to the application portal
• Generate user ID and password by filling in the name, date of birth, gender, citizenship, mobile number, email address
• Login and fill in the application form
• Pay the application fee and submit the details
• Download the confirmation page and take a print out

IAT 2025 will be conducted on May 25 for admission to undergraduate programmes at IISERs.
