IIT BHU MTech admissions 2025 last date for registration extended till April 9

IIT BHU: Candidates who qualified GATE 2025 can apply for IIT BHU admissions 2025 through the official website, pgadmission.iitbhu.ac.in.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU) has extended the last date for registration to IIT BHU MTech, MPharm, and PhD 2025 courses till April 9. Eligible candidates who qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 can apply for IIT BHU admissions 2025 through the official website, pgadmission.iitbhu.ac.in.
Candidates will also have to register for COAP 2025 counselling along with institute registration. The IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 results on March 19. Earlier, the last date to register for IIT BHU PG and PhD programmes was April 7.
Candidates who have higher scores in GATE 2025 will have more chances of admission to the institute. Candidates who qualify under the eligibility criteria will get admission to IIT BHU .
The application fee for the IIT BHU MTech admissions 2025 for general and OBC-NCL category candidates is Rs 500, and for SC and ST category candidates is Rs 250.

IIT BHU MTech Admissions 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should have a BTech or equivalent degree in a relevant field with atleast 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a scale of 10. Candidates should also have valid GATE scores . Candidates having a CGPA of 8.0 or above are exempted from having GATE scores and will be selected based on interviews.
IIT BHU MTech Admissions 2025: Selection process
Candidates will be selected based on their GATE scores. The seats will be allotted based on centralized counselling conducted by COAP. Candidates will be required to check the COAP portal as per seat allotment dates to check their admission status. Candidates who have higher marks in the IIT BHU MTech cutoffs will have higher chances of admission. The IIT BHU will also conduct a written test and interview as a part of the selection process. The final admission list will be released on the institute's official website.
