IIT Bhubaneswar registers 9th in India Today ranking

NEW DELHI, MAY 21: IIT Bhubaneswar is ranked 9th under the best government engineering college category for the year 2019 in the annual ranking published by India Today.

The ranking was undertaken by the Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA) that considered parameters like intake quality and governance, academic excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development, and career progression and placement.

IIT Bhubaneswar improved by one spot, compared to last year, in the MDRA evaluations based on the updated data.

“At IIT Bhubaneswar, we have been rising the standards of the operations of the Institute in all fronts such as quality of education including learning, teaching, strengthening of research and fostering innovation towards providing holistic development of students. It is indeed very satisfying to see the Institute's position is going up in all the ranking frameworks in the country as well as at global level,” said Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar.

IIT Bhubaneswar was ranked 17th among all the engineering institutes in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking.
