IIT JAM 2024 answer key, question paper out for all 7 subjects; challenge begins on February 26

IIT-M has opened the JAM application form 2024 correction window for candidates to make edits in gender and category at the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has issued the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024) answer key and question papers for biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology (GG), mathematics (MA), mathematical statistics (MS), and physics (PH). Candidates will be able to challenge the JAM answer key 2024 through the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

The institute uploaded the response sheets of candidates who appeared in the exam for admission to MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc - PhD, MSc - PhD Dual Degree. IIT-M informed candidates that the JAM answer key challenge facility will be made available from February 26 to 28. As per the schedule, JAM results will be declared on March 22.

The JAM question paper 2024 had three sections carrying multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-selection questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). Each paper had a total of 60 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.

The institute has also asked candidates to make changes in category, gender and PwD category if any before February 24. They will have to enter their enrolment number or registration number, mobile number or email address and password to make edits in their JAM application form 2024.

JAM 2024 marking scheme

There will be negative marking in section A MCQs. No mark will be given to questions that are not attempted.
