NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will close the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2024 registration window today, October 13. Candidates who have not applied yet can fill the IIT JAM 2024 application form through the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

As per the eligibility criteria, those candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree or are currently studying in the final year of undergraduate programmes can apply for the PG entrance exam. While there is no age limit, foreign nationals having Indian degrees can also apply.
For a single test paper, students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST,) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories and female candidates will have to pay Rs 900 as the application fee. All other applicants will have to submit Rs 1,800.
JAM 2024 will be conducted on February 11, 2024 for admission to postgraduate programmes in the IITs and participating institutes. The exam will be held as a Computer-Based Test for seven test papers including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS, and Physics (PH).
JAM 2024 scores will be used for admission to 3,000 PG seats in 21 IITs for the academic session 2024-25. The institutes which will admit students through JAM 2024 are as follows:
