NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will end the registration process for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 today, October 18. Eligible candidates can fill out the IIT JAM 2024 application form through the official website at jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 2.
Earlier, the last date to apply for the JAM exam 2025 was October 11, which was later extended. As per the official schedule, the last date to change the examination cities, test papers, category, or gender is November 18, 2024. Candidates must upload a valid Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) or Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificate by November 20, 2024.
IIT Delhi is conducting examinations for seven test papers including chemistry, geology, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, physics, and mathematical statistics. Candidates have the option to appear for either one or two test papers. If a student chooses to apply for two papers, they must ensure that these papers are not scheduled in the same session.
To register for the exam, female candidates, as well as candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 900 for one test paper and Rs 1,250 for two test papers. For all other candidates, the fee is Rs 1,800 for one test paper and Rs 2,500 for two test papers.
The institute will announce the IIT JAM 2025 results on March 19, 2025, and the scorecards will be available for download starting March 25, 2025. The admission process will commence from April 2, 2025.
