IIT Kanpur invites applications to eMasters in financial technology and management

IIT Kanpur admissions: Eligible candidates can apply for the eMasters programme on the official website – iitk.ac.in before May 12. GATE score not required.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has invited applications for the second batch of the eMasters in financial technology and management programme. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the programme on the official website of the institute – iitk.ac.in. The last date to apply is May 12.
Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500 to apply for the eMasters programme. Candidates will be required to register with a mobile number, submit personal details, upload the necessary documents and pay the fees. The selection process includes review of the application form, selection test, and interview.

The eligibility criteria for the eMasters programme is:
- Bachelor's degree (3/4 years programme) in engineering, science, economics, computer applications or equivalent with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI or
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, economics, commerce, management, computer applications with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI 2 years of work experience (an applicant need not be currently employed to be eligible). The experience component can be waived for suitable candidates with significant domain expertise acquired in their UG or PG education
“Designed exclusively for working professionals willing to accelerate their careers in financial services, technology startups, consulting firms, or any other financial sector, this program will help study the impact of technology on the finance and financial services industry. In addition, professionals will also build expertise in the development and management of technology-driven financial products and services,” said an official statement from IIT Kanpur.
