IIT Kanpur launches certificate programme in Python QISKIT for data science, ML and quantum computing

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur launches a certificate programme on Python Quantum Information Science Kit (QISKIT) for data science (DS), data analytics (DA), machine learning (ML), and quantum computing (QC). The four-week programme will take place from March 1 to March 28, 2025.
As per the institute, the programme is designed to equip participants with advanced programming techniques, algorithms, and scientific methods, preparing them for cutting-edge developments in these fields. The programme registration is divided into four categories, with the last date to register being March 3, 2025, under the premium category.
Participants will learn Python programmings and essential packages like NumPy, LinAlg, Matplotlib, Pandas, Seaborn, Scikit-learn, and Qiskit. The institute also includes problem-solving sessions to prepare for tests and job interviews in DS, DA, ML and QC.
The target audience for this programme includes Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) scholars researching Data Science (DS) and Data Analytics (DA) technologies, Master of Technology (MTech) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) students working on DS and DA theses or projects, engineering faculty members, and engineers in wireless industries and research and development organisations.
