IIT Kanpur launches eMasters in Business Leadership; direct link here

Candidates will not have to appear in GATE for admission to IIT Kanpur’s eMasters in Business Leadership programme.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has launched eMasters degree in Business Leadership for working professionals. The programme has been designed by the department of economic sciences and its aims at empowering professionals with an understanding of modern business dynamics, complexities of the corporate landscape.
Candidates applying for the programme will not be required to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
The IIT said, “The programme will equip modern leaders to navigate technological advancements, shifting consumer behaviours, and the digital transformation of industries. The students will also be able to understand digital strategies, data-driven insights, and agile decision-making.”
60-credit structure
Students selected for the programme will have the option to complete it in one to three years’ time span. The curriculum comprises a 60-credit structure consisting of 3 core modules, 10 technology-oriented modules, and a capstone Project. Students will also gain access to IIT Kanpur's placement cell, incubation cell, and alumni network.
It added that while designing the curriculum of the programme, an immersive learning format was incorporated. The students will be able to visit the IIT Kanpur campus, assisting them to form connections with eminent faculty and experienced professionals.

The institute claimed that studies have shown that 52% of companies reported an increase in worker productivity, and 49% registered better performance after they adopted digital infrastructure. It has been found that leaders who can harness technology in a digitally disrupted and constantly evolving global business landscape are the ones who will thrive in this ever-changing business ecosystem, it added.
