NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is offering a new certificate programme in ANSYS software in collaboration with CADFEM group. The course is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2022. Interested candidates can apply before April 7.

The ANSYS certificate programme will be an online training programme that will familiarise the students with the latest technologies. The course includes training using ANSYS for engineering simulation in 5G communication systems, smart mobility and hybrid, electric vehicles.

“From rocket launches, functioning of aeroplanes, cars, and computers to mobile devices, and wearable technologies, ANSYS software plays a critical role in its creation. Ansys is the global leader in engineering simulation and helps the world’s most innovative companies deliver radically better products to their customers,” said a statement from IIT Madras.

The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is a company hosted by IIT Madras with funding from the department of science and technology (DST), under the ministry of science and technology.

“IIT Madras Pravartak has chosen these three important areas namely 5G, Autonomous vehicles and EV, for the human capacity training that our country will need in large numbers in the nearest future. These courses will provide the required foundation for professionals to go ahead and develop robust Atmanirbhar solutions in the respective areas,” said V Kamakoti, director of IIT Madras.
