IIT Madras releases GATE 2019 response sheets; Opens name correction facility till Feb 17

New Delhi, February 14: IIT Madras has released the student response sheets for GATE 2019  for all the 24 papers on February 14. The paper for which response sheets are released includes Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) held on February 9 and Civil Engineering paper held on February 10. However, the response sheets for papers held on February 2 and 3 have already been released by IIT Madras on February 7.

In order to view the response sheet candidates will have log in to their account using their Enrollment ID/Email Address/Registration ID, password and security pin.

Along with the response sheet, authorities have also opened the window for candidates who would like to correct the name. This correction facility is open from February 14 to 17. In order to avail the facility, candidates will have to send an email with the subject: ‘Name correction, Enrollment ID’ along with the mentioned below details to gate2019@iitm.ac.in

  • Enrollment ID
  • Registration Number
  • Present Name
  • Correct Name
  • Softy copy of the Name proof (Eligibility certificate, Examination mark sheets, Degree certificate, Aadhar card etc.)

The answer key of GATE 2019 for all the papers could now be expected anytime soon. The GATE 2019 results will be announced on March 16. Students who will have any objection against the answer key would also be allowed to raise their concern within specified date and time which would be notified on release of answer key.

GATE 2019 has been successfully conducted by IIT Madras for all the 24 papers across various test centres in India and abroad. Many coaching centres have released memory based question papers, solutions and their answer key. Students can use them for reference to calculate their expected score. As per the subject experts and reviews from the aspirants, GATE 2019 papers for most of the subjects were easy to moderate in difficulty level. Questions were mostly framed keeping an average standard in difficulty and variability in topics.
