IIT Tirupati MTech Admissions 2025: The deadline to apply for various streams in the MTech programme is April 21.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) has announced the datesheet for admission to its Master of Technology (MTech) programme in various streams. Candidates will be able to register for the MTech course through the official website at iittp.ac.in/m-tech-admission from March 20.
The deadline to apply for the MTech programme at the IIT Tirupati is April 21.
Male candidates, belonging to the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non Creamy Layer (NCL), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories have to pay Rs 400 as registration fee. Female aspirants in the similar category bracket should pay Rs 200 as application charges.
Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates have to pay Rs 200 as registration charges to apply for the MTech courses at the engineering institute.
The engineering institute offers various specialisations in the MTech field.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the MTech courses at the IIT Tirupati for Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) candidates is given below.
Candidates must have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam 2025, 2024 or 2023 and possess bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or master’s degree in a suitable discipline.
Applicants from the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) with BTech degree can apply for the course without having a GATE score. They must have a CGPA of 8.0 (7.5 for SC, ST) on a scale of 10.0 and above in the BTech degree.
"Candidates sponsored (with full pay and allowances for 24 months) by and employed in an industry or organisation or national laboratories, recognized by the department of science and technology (DST) or by the IIT Tirupati, having minimum of two years of professional experience can apply, provided they hold one of the following degrees:
BE or BTech or master's degree in science with 60% aggregate marks in all the years of eligible degree.
BE or BTech or master’s degree in science with valid GATE score.
