IMT Nagpur & IMT Hyderabad continues the admission process 2021 for CMAT applicants

NEW DELHI- IMT Hyderabad and IMT Nagpur have decided to continue their ongoing admission process for CMAT applicants. IMT is giving candidates a chance to appear for IMT common admissions 2021 as per their previous interview dates and slots. The management aspirants must note that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the CMAT 2021 entrance exam to the last week of March/ first week of April. Also, the exam conducting body has introduced some changes in the CMAT exam pattern this year.

The IMT selection process is going on for candidates of CAT 2020/ XAT 2021/ GMAT (From January 1, 2017 to February 28, 2021) and CMAT 2021. The Institute started the Personal Interview (PI) round of IMT common admission from February 5, 2021.

Personal Interview (PI) process is applicable for all the CMAT aspirants who have applied for IMT common admission application 2021 and are going to update their CMAT roll number/ registration number to candidate’s portal till March 15, 2021. The candidates will be able to update their CMAT 2021 score till the end of May 2021.

For the purpose of provisional admission offer at IMT campus Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of best test score (CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT), candidates academic scores (10th, 12th and Undergraduate), overall work experience and performance in the online Personal Interview.

CMAT 2021- Key components of admission process

• Profile Detail form & submission of SOP (300 words)- A profile detail form will be sent to the shortlisted candidates in which they have to fill basic profile details, work experience, education background etc.

• Video- The shortlisted candidates are required to make a one minute video about their introduction, background, career aspiration etc.

• Personal Interview- Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview round. The duration of PI round will be of 15-20 minutes long for each candidate in online video format.

• The candidate will be evaluated on five parameters during the Personal Interview process:

  • Communication and Interpersonal skills

  • Analytical /Problem solving skills

  • Business Affairs and General Awareness

  • Domain knowledge

  • Future Potential for employability
