Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Maritime University has concluded the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) 2025 registrations. The IMU CET 2025 registration deadline was May 2. The IMU CET 2025 registration form was filled up at imu.cbexams.com. The IMU CET 2025 exam date was on May 24.
The IMU CET 2025 BBA registration fee for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backwards Classes (OBC) is Rs 200, and for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), it is Rs 140. The Btech IMU CET 2025 registration fee for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL is Rs 1,000. On the other hand, SC, ST candidates are required to pay Rs 700.
The authority has released the IMU CET admit card 2025 on May 16, 2025. The IMU CET 2025 result was announced on May 30, 2025. The IMU CET 2025 counselling registration was closed on June 8, 2025. Read the article below completely to know more details about the IMU CET 2025 exam.
IMU CET 2025: Eligibility criteria
The IMU CET 2025 eligibility criteria are as follows.
Academic requirements
- Candidates are required to have obtained 60% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class 12.
- Candidates are required to score minimum 50% marks in Class 12 English subject.
- 5% relaxation in Class 12 marks requirement applies for SC, ST category candidates.
Age limit
- Candidates are required to be minimum 17 years old as of August 1, 2025.
- The upper age limit is 25 years old as of August 1, 2025.
- SC, ST candidates will get 5-year age relaxation.
IMU CET 2025 exam pattern
The IMU CET 2025 for BTech will be conducted in online mode. The medium of the IMU CET 2025 will be English. The duration of the IMU CET 2025 is 3 hours. The IMU CET 2025 will include 200 multiple-choice questions. The IMU CET 2025 BTech paper will be divided into 4 sections- physics, chemistry, English, aptitude and mathematics. Physics and mathematics sections carry the highest weightage in IMU CET 2025. As per the IMU CET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each correct answer.
