Download NowThe Indian Maritime University has extended the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET 2026) registration deadline to April 28 until 12 pm. Eligible candidates can apply for the IMU CET exam 2026 on the official website, imu.edu.in.
As per the schedule, the IMU CET 2026 is to be held on May 24, in a single shift from 11 am to 2 pm, and the admit card is likely to be released about a week before the exam date.
To complete the IMU CET 2026 registration process, the general, economically weaker section (EWS), other backwards classes (OBC) will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 200, and for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), the application fee is Rs 140.
The BTech IMU CET 2026 registration fee for UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL is Rs 1,000, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs 700.
IMU CET Application Form 2026: Steps to apply
Follow the instructions below to fill out the IMU CET application form for admission to BTech, MSc, and PhD courses.
- Go to the official website, imu.edu.in.
- Click on the “IMU CET 2026” link.
- Register using your basic details to create your login credentials.
- Log in to the dashboard and fill out the IMU CET 2026 application form.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the IMU CET 2026 application fee.
- Submit the filled form and take a printout of the same for your reference.
The IMU CET exam is a 3-hour computer-based test conducted in a remote-proctored mode. Candidates must log in at least 45 minutes before the exam for verification.
