India International Skill Centre of NSDC gives accreditation to MAHE’s WGSHA
NEW DELHI: The Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA) which is a part of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has recently been awarded accreditation by the ‘India International Skill Centre’ (IISC) of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on 6th April 2020. MAHE has been enlisted as a network member of the IISC and WGSHA in addition to the ‘Department of Culinary Arts’ (DCA) are empanelled as network centres.
How would WGSHA and DCA accreditation prove beneficial?
The youth who are seeking for mobility of the job will be provided with skill training and certifications benchmarked to International Standards now. These institutes would impart training to workers planning to migrate overseas, provide pre-departure orientation training (PDOT) modules, develop placement linkages to international countries, and jointly certify the candidates.
Commenting on the accreditation, Chef K.
