Indian Air Force AFCAT Notification 2020 Released; Check Eligibility Criteria

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 23: Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification of AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) 2020 online at afcat.cdac.in on November 23, 2019. According to the AFCAT 2020 notification the online application form will be released on December 01, 2019 and candidates will be able to fill the application form till December 30. IAF has also released 249 vacancies in AFCAT entry through this recruitment. Candidates qualifying the test will be eligible to appear in the AFCAT course commencing from January 2021 for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) Branches.
The application fee to fill the AFCAT 2020 application form is Rs. 250/-

Eligibility Criteria - Age limit:
Age limit for Flying Branch - 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2021. Although the upper age limit of candidates having a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is up to 26 years. Age limit for candidates for Ground duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches is 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2021.
Educational qualifications:
The minimum educational qualification required for AFCAT is graduation. Candidates should have 60% in Maths and Physics in 10+2. The eligibility criteria differ post wise and candidates are advised to check official notification for detail.
Other Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must be an Indian citizen. AFCAT eligibility criteria varies according to the different branches the candidate wants to apply for.
Those candidates who are below the age of 25 years must be unmarried when the course starts. Widows/Widowers and divorcees below 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.
Candidates qualifying the test will be recruited as in IAF and will be entitled to a pay scale of:
