Indian Army Vacancy for 10+2 Candidates; Check Details and Eligibility Criteria

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 15: Indian Army is inviting online applications for 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course - 43. The application can be filled by male unmarried candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 70% marks. Apart from the educational qualifications mentioned, candidates must not be below 16½ years and above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the TES Course is to begin. Candidates willing to apply must be physically and mentally fit according to the prescribed physical standards. They are also advised to rectify minor ailments like overweight/underweight, Under-sized chest, Piles, Gynaecomastia etc in order to speed up finalization of the medical examination conducted at the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB.
The recruitment is to fill in approximately 90 vacancies. Candidates willing to make a successful career in the Indian Army can apply online at the official website - joinindianarmy.nic.in from October 15, 12 PM.
Indian Army reserves the right to shortlist the candidates based on the cut off. After shortlisting, the candidates will be allotted centres which will be intimated to them online. Candidates will have to log in to the Indian Army website and select their SSB dates which will be on a first come first serve basis.

The short notification also states that after four years, candidates will be given permanent commission in the army in the rank of lieutenant. At lieutenant rank, the grade pay comes in level 10 of pay matric and one is eligible for pay of Rs 56,100 – Rs 1,77,500 per month.
