International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership kicks off at Amity University, Noida

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 19: Hundreds of budding entrepreneurs interacted with industry leaders at a 3-day international conference that kicked off in Amity University, Noida.
The University, in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India, is organizing the International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership (ICEIL 2018) on the theme “Technology, Innovation, and Value Creation”.
Inaugurating the conference, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State for Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Independent Charge), Government of India said that Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership are the elements to bring forth the transformational change and development in the world.Speaking on the occasion, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’s ambassador Augusto Montiel stressed on the strong relations between India and Venezuela and informed that 1/4th of oil used for industry development in India comes from Venezuela. He lauded Amity for creating global leaders who can innovate and inspire entrepreneurship and ignite wealth creation for development of the nation.
Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, General Chair – ICEIL’2018 & Vice Chancellor, Amity University shared that it is a unique conference which has conglomerate of doyens from industry and academia along with whole strata of young students, budding entrepreneurs and achievers from across the globe together on one platform, to have in-depth discussions, share their experiences, exchange new ideas and present their research results in technopreneurship and Leadership.
During the inaugural, “Amity Excellence /Leadership Awards” was conferred upon industry leaders and academics to recognize their achievements and contributions including Golok Kumar Simli and Prof. (Dr.) S.N. Singh, Vice Chancellor, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology.
The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs, academia, industry, Government and policymakers to come together and promote leadership, technopreneurship and management practices in SMEs.
