IIM Indore to conduct IPMAT 2026 on May 4

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has announced the exam date for Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2025. IIM Indore will conduct the IPMAT 2026 exam on May 4 in the afternoon shift. The IPMAT 2025 application will be accessible on iimidr.ac.in, once available.

As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The paper will comprise 400 marks.

Based on IPMAT scores , candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview (PI), and a category-wise merit list will be generated based on composite score (CS), and admission offers will be made accordingly.

Shortlisted candidates must appear for a video assessment round and upload a self-recorded video within a specified time frame after the IPMAT results are declared. Candidates will be given a set of questions to record videos, and those who fail to do so will be disqualified from further rounds.

IPMAT exam pattern 2026

Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the IPMAT 2026 exam in an online mode. The IPMAT paper will consist of three sections: Quantitative Ability MCQs, Quantitative Ability short-answer questions, and Verbal Ability MCQs.

IPMAT eligibility criteria 2026

Candidates willing to apply for the IPMAT 2026 exam should have atleast 60% for the general category and 55% for other categories in the Class 10+2 certificate or its equivalent. As per the age criteria, general category candidates should be born after August 1, 2005 and other candidates on or after August 1, 2000.

The IPMAT exam is held for admission to the 5-year integrated programme in management offered by IIM Indore , IIM Ranchi, IIFT Delhi, and other management colleges across the country.
