IRMA begins third batch of executive programme - PGDM(RM-X)

NEW DELHI: Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has started online classes for the third batch of its Executive Programme - Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management- Executive) which is also known as PGDM(RM-X). IRMA also conducted induction and orientation before the beginning of online classes. Amid COVID-19 pandemic, IRMA adapted to the challenge of the online induction and orientation process by gearing up with its IT infrastructure to enable seamless process through online platforms.
Induction and Orientation Week
The online orientation included interaction of the new PGDM(RM-X) batch students with the director, Umakant Dash, Madhavi Mehta, Programme Chair, course instructors, alumni relations, IT as well as mental health and wellness advisor.
The major highlight of the IRMA induction programme was the participant’s interaction with the alumni of IRMA’s One Year Programme (OYP), Amit Vyas and RK Singh. Apart from that, the alumni of the first and second batches of the PGDM(RM-X) were also present.
The IRMA director said, “Although the classes have begun in the online mode, no stone will be left unturned in providing the participants with the best teaching-learning experience.”
Batch Profile
The third batch of PGDM(RM-X) has a total of 33 participants. The batch represents regional diversity with representation from states across India like Assam, Haryana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. In the executive programme of IRMA, participants are from different backgrounds like Commerce, Engineering, Science, Veterinary, Business Administration, and Dairy Engineering backgrounds. This PGDM(RM-X) batch has an average work experience of 10 years.
