ISB Hyderabad gets AMBA accreditation after IIM Calcutta and Indore
NEW DELHI: The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, has received the Association of MBAs (AMBA) accreditation to join the league of just 100 management institutions across the globe to achieve the ‘Triple Crown’.
The “triple crown” consist of accreditations from AMBA, EFMD Quality Improvement System, or EQUIS, and AACSB Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB.
The other two institutions in India to achieve all three are the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and IIM Indore.
Students and alumni
In an official statement, Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of AMBA & BGA, said: ‘I would like to congratulate ISB on becoming the milestone 100th Triple Crown School. They have now joined an outstanding group of Schools who are justifiably proud of their Triple Crown status.’
All the current MBA students and MBA alumni of ISB have been invited to join AMBA’s global member community which presently has more than 49,000 students and alumni across 150 countries free of charge.
AMBA currently accredits 272 business schools in 75 countries.
The AMBA accreditation is awarded to the best programs globally. It follows a strict assessment criteria and looks for only highest calibre programs which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction.
AMBA also ensures that accredited programs should reflect changing trends and innovation in postgraduate education section.
