Download NowNEW DELHI: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will start the Indian School Certificate (ISC) board exam 2025 from today. On day 1, ISC Class 12 students will appear for the environmental science paper, followed by English on February 14. The exam will be held from 2 pm.

As per the ISC date sheet 2025 , the CISCE will hold the Class 12 board exam from February 13 to April 5. Board exams for some subjects will be held in the morning shift at 9 am and some in the afternoon shift between 2 pm to 5 pm. Students will have to obtain 35% in each subject to pass the ISC Class 12 board exam 2025.
Students will be allowed to carry pens, pencils, erasers, mathematical and dissecting instruments, art materials are per subject requirement. The board has instructed students to write the answers with blue or black ink pens.

The board instructed students to reach the exam hall by 8.30 am for morning exams and by 1.30 pm for afternoon shift. Students will be given 15 minutes reading time before the exam begins.

If a student is found to have used or help in using unfair means to pass the exam, the incident will be reported to the chief executive and secretary of CISCE Board and “may be expelled from the examination hall/room forthwith and refused admission to subsequent examination papers”, it said.
“If a candidate is suffering from an infectious disease and is declared medically fit to sit for exam, the candidate may be permitted to appear for the examination after proper arrangements are made for his/her isolation and separate supervision,” the board said.
The answer sheets of such students will be sent by the schools to CISCE’s office in a separate envelope after seeking advice from “registered medical practitioner with regard to the fumigation of the scripts before their dispatch”.

ISC Class 12 environmental science paper
The ISC environmental science subject will have two papers. Paper 1 will be theory-based, which will be held for 70 marks and paper 2 will be practical and project work will carries 30 marks.
