ISRO apprentice recruitment 2026 opens for 410 posts; apply by August 28

Those interested in the ISRO Apprentice programme can register and submit applications through the official NATS portal
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started its apprentice recruitment 2026 through its centres, including ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) and U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC). Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official ISRO website, isro.gov.in.
The registration process began on July 29. Candidates can submit their applications online till August 28, 2026. The ISRO apprentice recruitment 2026 drive will fill 410 apprentice positions.
The ISTRAC apprentice recruitment 2026 offers opportunities for graduate, diploma apprentice trainees, commercial practice and trade ITI apprentices. The recruitment drive includes 220 graduate, 120 technician, and 70 commercial practice apprentice positions, respectively.
ISRO apprentice recruitment eligibility
Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications specified for each apprentice category.

Graduate apprenticeship: Candidates must have completed a BE/ BTech degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.

Technician apprenticeship: Applicants should hold a diploma in the respective discipline from a recognised state board.

Apprenticeship for commercial practice: Candidates must have a diploma in commercial practice from a recognised board.
Candidates who completed their qualifying degree or diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship programme.
Selection process
Candidates who meet the mentioned eligibility criteria can register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal to apply for the apprenticeship programme. Candidates can complete the online application process through the official NATS portal.
The selection of candidates will be based on eligibility criteria, academic qualifications, and other conditions mentioned in the official notification. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the concerned ISRO centre for the next stage of the selection process.
