NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 14: The ITM Institute of Design and Media participated at FOAID’18 (Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing) which was started with an idea of celebrating the glory of Indian Architecture and Design.
Since its inception, it aims to create a benchmark where the stalwarts and the future designers share a common platform to discuss how the design world has transformed and innovated to create a future of spellbound figures.
ITM Institute of Design and Media competed with institutes like Pearl Academy, Raffles Design International, along with various others. ITM IDM was announced as the Gold winner under Expressions Art Installation competition for ‘EDUSYS’.
This theory is explained by comparing knowledge with Light. In this installation, the brighter bulb on top represents a teacher where as the other smaller bulbs symbolize the students. The difference between both the educations systems is conveyed from the amount of light received i.e. knowledge.
The competition was judged under the criteria of theme, design concept, material understanding, presentation and other elements. The theme of the event was “Time to Re-imagine” and the installations had to be based on 5 different element or 5 materials to mark celebration of 5 years of FOAID. The installation was announced to be the Gold Winner of all other creations and the hard work of the students certainly paid off by winning the prize.
