NEW DELHI: IIT Kanpur has released the JAM admission form 2020 on April 20, in online mode. Candidates, who have qualified JAM 2020, can fill the admission form at the JOAPS portal till May 10. While filling the admission form, candidates have to make the choice selection regarding the courses and the IITs as per their interest. On the basis of the test paper(s) qualified, candidates may apply to one or more programmes covered under that test paper(s), given they meet the minimum educational qualification and the eligibility requirements of the IIT offering admission. Earlier, yesterday – ie: April 19, IIT Kanpur had announced the revised dates for Jam admission 2020.

Alongside the revised dates, the JAM authorities have also come up with a provision for those candidates who are not able to find or arrange their documents. The undertaking has to be filled in capital letters, except for the signature. Candidates have to submit a filled, signed and scanned copy or a scan of the handwritten copy of the undertaking.

Any request pertaining to the change of category in proper format and rectification of defective documents will be entertained till May 15.

Further, according to the order of preference mentioned in the admission form of JAM and corresponding rank(s) in the merit list, the authority will release the first admission list for each programme on June 15. The second and the third admission lists will be out on June 30 and July 15. As per the dates announced, the admissions will close by July 20.

JAM is held every year by one of the organising IITs, out of the 20 participating for offering admission to M.Sc.
