Download EBookNEW DELHI, MAY 27: Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is conducting JEE Advanced 2019 in online mode today. Around 2,45,000 candidates were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2019 on the basis of their JEE Main scores. The application form for JEE Advanced 2019 was available from May 3 to 9 in online mode only. The entrance test is being conducted in two papers and candidates will be required to appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 compulsorily. JEE Advanced 2019 admit card was made available to students from May 20. The result of JEE Advanced 2019 will be announced on June 14. The counselling and seat allotment process will be done through JoSAA. This year their are total 11,279 seats in IIT's for admission to B.Tech programmes.

Paper 2
5:00 PM: JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 2 concluded. JEE Advanced 2019 examination is now official over. The exam was held in two sessions today. Paper 1 was held from 9 AM to 12 PM whereas Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2019 was conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. Results of JEE Advanced 2019 will be announced on June 14.
4:55 PM: JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 2 to be concluded at 5:00 PM. Gates will be opened in few minutes. Parents are waiting for their wards outside the exam hall gate.
2:00 PM: JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 2 has commenced in online mode. The paper will go on for three hours and the exam will be concluded at 5:00 PM.
1:55 PM: Gates of the examination hall closed, no student will be allowed entry further.
12:49 PM - Guard starts announcing instructions for Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2019.
12:47 PM: Candidates are being made to hand over their note pad from Paper 1. A new one will be given for Paper 2.
12:40 PM: Entry for JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 2 commences

12:22 PM: Ayush from CBSE board felt that Mathematics was the toughest section of the exam as the calculations took a lot of time. Ayush's exam went well and he is expecting good results in the exam.
12:20 PM: Rishabh Anand, a student who appeared for JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 1 told that his examination did not go too good for him. Physics was the toughest section among all as per him. Rishabh felt that the paper was not lengthy but it was a bit tricky. Rishabh scored 96 percentile in JEE Main 2019.
12:10 PM: JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 1 concluded, students are starting to come out of the examination hall. Students are given a 45 minutes lunch break before Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2019 commences.
11:55 AM: The gates of the examination hall are about to open in 5-10 minutes as the exam is supposed to be over at 12 PM.
9:05 AM: JEE Advanced 2019 Paper 1 commences in online mode. Gates of the examination hall have been closed.
8:55 AM: The gates of the exam hall are about to close in few minutes. Security staff still allowing entry to students.
8:35 AM: Final entries to the exam hall have started. Latecomers still coming in, gates to be closed anytime soon.
8:15 AM: Students have started entering the exam hall. Paper 1 of JEE Advanced 2019 will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
7:35 AM: Gates of the examination centre have been opened for entry. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall after thorough checking. Students with admit cards are only allowed to go inside the exam hall.
7:10 AM: Students have started arriving at the exam centre with their parents. The gates of the examination will be opened at 7:30.
