The JEE Advanced 2019 exam has been concluded successfully today. Students from across the country appeared for the JEE Advanced 2019 exam to secure a seat in IITs. A total of 2,45,000 students qualified for appearing in the JEE Advanced 2019 exam on the basis of their JEE Mains 2019 score. The exam was conducted in complete online mode in morning and evening shift between 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM subsequently.
As per the students reviews, paper in the morning shift was a bit difficult with Mathematics being tricky and analytical in nature. Questions in Physics and Chemistry were moderately difficult with most questions taken from Class 12 part. Most of the students found Mathematics difficult wherein questions were largely calculative in nature. There were a total of 54 questions in Paper 1, 18 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics totalling 186 marks.
In forenoon shift exam, Students found Chemistry section to be relatively easier than Mathematics and Physics. Questions in Physics were mostly conceptual while Mathematics was lengthy. Overall, the difficulty level of paper, as reported by students was relatively tougher with most questions being framed from class 12.

IIT Roorkee will release response sheets of students on May 29 while the official answer key will be released on June 4 in online mode. Students who would have any objection against the answer key would be able to submit their objections in online mode from June 4 to 5, 2019. The result of JEE Advanced 2019 will be declared on June 14 after considering the objections raised by the candidates against answer key.
Students who qualify the JEE Advanced becomes eligible to take admission in prestigious institutes like IITs and many other institutes like IISER and IIST. The admission of students in IITs will be through JoSAA 2019 counselling.
