JEE Advanced 2021 postponed; Revised dates to be notified later

Try NowNEW DELHI : The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE-Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be conducted on July 3 has been postponed. The organising institute, IIT Kharagpur, has released a notification stating that JEE Advanced 2021 stands postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The new JEE Advanced 2021 exam date will be released later.
The official notification states, “Considering the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 3, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time.”
Earlier, the authorities announced the relaxation in the JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria . Based on the relaxed eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2021, the candidates are no longer required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of having 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) in Class 12 beside qualifying JEE Main to get admission in IITs.
IIT Kharagpur has already released the JEE Advanced 2021 syllabus on the official website. Students preparing for the upcoming entrance test must check the detailed syllabus. The syllabus consists of the list of topics from which the questions will be asked in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam.
Candidates can also find JEE Advanced 2021 mock test at jeeadv.ac.in. The mock test of JEE Advanced 2021 will help the aspirants to understand the pattern and types of questions to be asked in exam in a much better way. Solving mock tests will significantly help students to boost preparation.
Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had postponed the engineering national level entrance test, JEE Main 2021 due to the prevailing condition. JEE Main is a qualifying examination for JEE Advanced 2021. In order to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, it is mandatory for students to appear and qualify Mains. As per the reports, the last two sessions of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in July and August .
JEE Advanced is a national level entrance test conducted for admission into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the IITs. The exam will be conducted as a computer based test.
