JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Over Live: Check paper 1, 2 analysis, answer key, cut off marks, college predictor

IIT Bombay is conducting the JEE Advanced 2022 exam for admissions to engineering courses offered by participating institutes. There are overall 23 IITs which offers admissions to various engineering courses on the basis of JEE Advanced exam.

As per the experts from Aakash BYJU’S, the overall difficulty level of paper was Moderate but lengthy.

Physics: This section was lengthy but Moderate, with the balance of class 11th and 12th.

Chemistry: This section was lengthy compared to paper 1 Moderate, with more weightage on organic and less on inorganic.

Mathematics: This section was lengthy and Moderate, balanced between 11th and 12th.

IIT Bombay will release the JEE Advanced 2022 cutoff after the declaration of the result. The cut off of JEE Advanced 2022 will be released separately for all the category. Applicants can check the JEE Advanced cutoff for previous year from the table given below.

IIT Bombay will release the JEE Advanced 2022 response sheet 2022 on September 1 at jeeadv.ac.in. Applicants appearing for the exam will be able to download their JEE Advanced response sheet through their login credentials. With the help of response sheet of JEE Advanced, applicants will be able to check their recorded response.

Applicants appearing for the exam can check the JEE Advanced college predictor. To use JEE Advanced college predictor, applicants have to enter their rank, caste group, gender and specially abled status. Applicants will get all the details of expected colleges at their registered email ID.

IITB has released the JEE Advanced 2022 result date at jeeadv.ac.in. Applicants appearing for the exam will be able to check JEE Advanced result 2022 on September 11. Applicants will be required their roll number, date of birth and phone number to check JEE Advanced results.

As per the Ramesh Batlish, Head-FIITJEE Noida, the Chemistry section was easy while Physics & Mathematics was Moderate to Tough Level & Lengthy.

Chemistry (Easy) - This section was balanced. In Physical Chemistry, there were questions from Electrochemistry, Mole Concept, Surface Chemistry, Thermodynamics & Chemical Kinetics. Organic Chemistry was well distributed with more mixed concept-based questions.  No direct questions in Inorganic Chemistry, there were questions from p-block specially reaction based.

Physics (Moderate & Lengthy)- There were more concept based and covered all chapters.  Students reported this section to be Moderate. Questions were asked from Optics, Kinematics, Work Power & Energy, Rotational Motion, Thermodynamics mixed with Surface Tension, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetism. Mixed concepts questions took more time, so some students found this section lengthy.

Mathematics (Moderately & Lengthy) -There were more questions from Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. Questions were mixed concept questions clubbing two chapters asked from Functions & Progressions, Application of Derivatives clubbed with Differential Equation, Circle clubbed with Trigonometry, Vectors clubbed with Matrices, and some direct questions from Hyperbola, Ellipse, Permutation & Combination, Probability, Definite Integration with Inverse of function. Questions had lengthy calculations.

As per the Saurabh Kumar , Chief Academic officer, Vidyamandir Classes, paper 2 was quite tough than paper 1. The Mathematics section was difficult while Physics was moderate. The Chemistry section asked in the JEE Advanced 2022 paper 2 was easy to moderate. Inorganic chemistry had high weightage and rotation in physics was quite difficult.

As per the Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Chief Academic officer, Vidyamandir Classes, the paper comprises 8 integer, 6 single choices and 4 multiple choice questions. A total of 54 questions (18 questions each) were asked in the exam. Mathematics section was moderate in comparision to previous year. Almost all the major topics were asked in the exam.

As per the students reaction, the questions asked were integer, multiple choice type and listing, There were multiple correct answers in MCQ. There was negative marking in integer type questions only. 

As per the students reaction, the paper was quite lenghty in comparison to previous year paper. The Mathematics was the toughest one while Chemistry section was easiest.
