NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will close the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) registration 2024 today, May 7. Eligible and interested candidates can fill the JEE Advanced 2024 application form by visiting the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

In order to be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2024 examination, candidates are required to secure a position among the top 2.5 lakh in the JEE Main. As per data disclosed in the TNN report, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana stand out with the highest number of candidates qualifying for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam, constituting over 30% of all eligible candidates. Uttar Pradesh takes the lead with more than 28,300 qualified candidates, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana, with 24,500 and 24,100 candidates respectively.
JEE Advanced 2024 application fee
Candidates are required to pay the JEE Advanced 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disabilities (PwD), females (all categories) are required to pay Rs 1,600 as JEE Advanced 2024 application fee. The JEE Advanced application fee 2024 for all other categories is Rs 3,200. Candidates will not get any correction facility to edit their JEE Advanced 2024 application form after submission.

JEE Advanced 2024 exam on May 26
The JEE Advanced 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 26. It will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be from 9 am to 12 pm, while Paper 2 will commence from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The examination will be held at 229 exam centres across India and three additional exam centres abroad, namely Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu. The institute is set to issue the JEE Advanced 2024 admit card on May 17.
The JEE Advanced 2024 will be held online in computer-based mode. The medium of the JEE Advanced 2024 paper is English and Hindi. The exam will consist of 2 compulsory papers, and the duration of each paper is 3 hours.
