NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, has released an updated version of JEE Advanced 2021 information brochure on the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. The authorities have introduced changes in certificate formats and announced updates for applicants who registered for JEE Advanced 2020 and foreign candidates.

The registration for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2021 will begin on September 11 and will continue till September 16. The candidates who successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in both papers [Paper 1 and Paper2] are eligible to directly register for JEE Advanced 2021. The eligibility under this one time measure can be verified by filling in the following details:
JEE Advanced 2021: Changes in certificate formats
IIT Kharagpur has changed the format of certificates that have to be uploaded during the JEE Advanced registration 2021.
“New certificate formats featuring changes in (a) FORM-PWD (III), (b) FORM-PWD (IV), (c) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of OBC-NCL certificate and (d) Declaration by the candidate in lieu of GEN-EWS certificate are uploaded,” the notice read.
The authorities have asked candidates to upload all relevant documents by October 2, 2021 (5 PM).
“We are aware of the difficulties posed by COVID-19. So the candidates are advised to get things done well in advance to avoid last-miniute problems,” the official notice added.
The authorities have also decided that they will not conduct the exam in any of the exam centres in foreign countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The foreign candidates may take the JEE Advanced 2021 exam at any of the exam centres in India, the notice added.
