JEE Main 2019 Paper-2 forenoon shift ends; Check analysis here

NEW DELHI, January 8- National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2019 Paper-2 forenoon shift. The Paper-2 forenoon shift conducted from 9:30 am to 12: 30 pm. JEE Main Paper II is being conducted for candidates who are seeking admission to Bachelor of Architecture courses. The entrance examination is being conducted partially in both Computer Based Test (CBT) and offline mode- Mathematics-(Part I) and Aptitude Test-(Part II) of JEE Main paper 2 were conducted in CBT mode and Drawing Test –(Part III) was held in Pen & Paper (offline) mode.

As the forenoon session concludes, here is the analysis of JEE Main Paper-2. The given analysis is based on the student reaction who have appeared for the entrance exam in the first shift.

JEE Main 2019 Paper-2 Analysis (Student Reaction)

In JEE Main Paper- 2 total of 82 questions were asked (Mathematics-30, Aptitude-50 and Drawing 3). Mathematics and Aptitude section carried objective type while drawing section test the drawing and sketching skills of the candidates. Every correct answer will fetch 4 marks, while incorrect response gets minus 1 mark. No marks will be given for unattempted questions. The question paper was of 390 marks in total (Drawing section will be of total 70 marks, marking of every question was given along with it.)

As per Vishal, a student who appeared for JEE Main Paper-2 forenoon shift, Mathematics was the toughest among the all. Aptitude was easy, while he said that drawing section depends on the imagination of the student.

“The Paper was easy if you have prepared well for the examination. It was above the NCERT level. I was able to complete all the section, however, unable to review them due to time constraint. Attempted around 60 questions and I am expecting 200 plus marks,” said Jhanvi, one of the candidates who appeared for JEE Main Paper- 2.

On the contrary, Rahul Prasad found Mathematics section of JEE Main Paper-II to be difficult. While the Aptitude section was easy.

The forenoon session of JEE Main 2019 Paper-II went off glitch free. The afternoon shift will commence from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

From tomorrow, NTA will be conducting JEE Main 2019 Paper- 1 in two shifts from January 9 to 12.
