NEW DELHI, JANUARY 19: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 result on January 19 in online mode. The Paper-II result of JEE Main 2019 will be announced later on. In order to check the NTA scores candidates will have to log-in to their account using any one of these combinations- application number and password and application number and date of birth.
NTA was supposed to announce the result on January 31 for the first attempt of JEE Main 2019. However, on January 19 morning NTA has activated the log in window to check the scores for some time, later on, which was deactivated.
Around 11:30 am the window to check the NTA score was again activated by the authorities. The NTA has declared the result sooner than it was expected.

What details result carries?
The announced result carries the subject-wise and total scores of the candidates secured in the entrance examination. Along with this, it also carries candidate’s details like name, category, application number, parents name and more.
The national level engineering entrance examination, JEE Main was conducted from January 8 to 12 in the computer-based test (CBT) mode in the various shift. This was the first attempt. The second attempt will be conducted in April between 6 to 20 in CBT mode. The application form for the April attempt will be released on February 8 in online mode.
After the JEE Main April session, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration better of the two NTA scores of all candidates appeared in January and April 2019 examinations.
