NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2020 admit card on August 17. Candidates can download their JEE Mains admit card 2020 from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in . Candidates have to login using their application number and password or date of birth for JEE admit card 2020 download.

The JEE Mains hall ticket 2020 september contains details about the exam date and time, address of the exam venue, candidates basic details like name, roll number, photo, signature and exam day guidelines.

NTA, the exam conducting authority has issued special advisory to candidates in JEE Mains exam admit card for appearing in exam amid the covid-19 pandemic. JEE Mains hall ticket 2020 also has details of important instructions for candidates, advisory regarding covid-19 which candidates have to adhere to at the time of entry in exam hall, during the exam and after the exam while coming out of the hall.

The JEE Mains admit card released has a self declaration (undertaking) form for providing details of travel history in the last 14 days and symptoms of covid-19, if any, which every candidate has to undersign.

NTA has also prescribed a dress code where shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted

JEE Main 2020 Admit Card: Highlights of advisory for candidates regarding Covid-19

Candidates must check all the details mentioned on JEE hall ticket regarding the covid-19 guidelines. The main points of advisory is listed below

  • Candidates will have to report at the exam centre as per the time mentioned on their JEE Mains admit card 2020 in order to avoid crowding and follow social distancing

  • Seating area, monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair will be thoroughly sanitised before and after each JEE Main exam shift. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will be disinfected.

  • The security personnel in the exam centre shall check the undertaking on JEE Main April admit card and body temperature using thermo guns at the entry.

  • Candidates will be required to remove the masks worn already and will be provided fresh masks at the JEE Main exam centre.

  • Hand sanitizers will be kept at the entry of the exam venue. Every candidate needs to sanitize their hands before entering the exam hall.

  • Candidates are allowed to carry JEE Main admit card, ID Card, transparent ball point pen, additional photographs, personal hand sanitizer and transparent water bottle.

  • Gap between the two seats inside the hall will be maintained as per the GOI guidelines

  • Five blank sheets will be provided to candidates at their desks. Candidates should write their name and roll number at the top of it and drop it in the designated drop box.

  • JEE Main admit card will be checked through bar code reader, frisking will be through metal detectors to avoid touch

  • Parents are advised not to stay at the exam centres during the JEE Main exam

  • At the end of examination, candidates have to drop their JEE Main 2020 admit card and rough worksheets at the collection box in the exam centres.

  • Candidates are supposed to keep a minimum distance of at least 6 feet at the premises.

  • Shoes/footwear with thick sole and garments with large buttons are not permitted.

JEE Main Self Declaration Form (Undertaking) - How to Fill?

The Jee Mains exam admit card has a self declaration form which every candidate needs to fill and sign. The self declaration is about any travel history, symptoms, if any of covid-19 or any possible contact with a coronavirus patient in the last 14 days. Candidates appearing in the exam have to fill the JEE Main self declaration form 2020 which will be checked at the time of exam.

JEE Main 2020 exam will be conducted from September 1 to 6. The exam will be conducted online as a computer based test across various test cities of the country.
