Try NowNEW DELHI: After a second chance provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to fill JEE Main 2020 application forms; new registrations have increased by nearly 15,000 in just three days. NTA had reopened the application process on May 19, 2020.

According to The Print , a senior official from the Ministry of Human Resource Development stated “As of May 22, nearly 15,000 students have registered for JEE Main. Out of them, 11,357 have already paid the exam fees.”
In this official notice, NTA stated that the second chance for filling JEE Main 2020 application form has been specially provided for those candidates who did not fill the form for studying abroad but now have changed plans due to COVID-19 situation. The last date to fill the fresh JEE Main 2020 application form is May 24.
National Testing Abhyas app which was also launched on May 19 by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ for providing mock tests for JEE Main and NEET candidates has been downloaded over 2 lakh times and more than 80,000 students have appeared for the mock test on the app. Pokhriyal himself tweeted this data for the newly launched app.
JEE Main 2020 will be held on July 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23 as a computer based test and more than 9 lakh candidates have already registered for the exam. JEE Main is conducted for admission to B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning courses offered by NITs, IIITs, IITs and other participating institutions.
