NEW DELHI: NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2020 paper 1 day one exam today. JEE Main paper 1 is for the B.E./B.Tech course offered by NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Plan course was conducted on September 1. As was reported from different exam centres across the country, necessary steps like social distancing, thermal screening, entry with masks and other standard operating procedure were strictly followed.
All candidates appearing for the exam today also need to strictly adhere to the NTA JEE Main covid guidelines, carry all required items to the exam centre and follow necessary precautions to ensure JEE Main 2020 paper 1 September 2 goes on smoothly.

Things to carry at JEE Main exam centre
Candidates must carry all the required items and documents as mentioned in their JEE Main admit card which include

  • JEE Main admit card 2020

  • Duly filled JEE Main self undertaking 2020

  • Photo ID proof in original like Aadhar, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID

  • One photograph, same as used in application form

  • Transparent ball point pen

  • Mask and hand sanitizer

  • Transparent water bottle (if required)

Necessary Precautions for Candidates
Candidates must strictly follow all the instructions mentioned in their JEE Main admit card so as to appear in the exam

  • Candidates should report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned in their JEE Main admit card

  • Candidates must avoid gathering outside exam centre and follow social distancing

  • Candidates must wear mask all the time around the exam centre

  • Candidates must follow all the instruction mentioned outside the exam centre and as told by the security guards at the centre

NTA JEE Main 2020 Covid-19 Guidelines

  • Candidates will be provided with fresh masks at the exam centre and they have to dispose the mak they carry to a box in the centre

  • Entry inside the examination centre will be allowed only after temperature check

  • Candidates need to carry all the necessary items as mentioned above, without which they will not be allowed inside the examination hall

  • Candidates need to inform to security personnels at the exam centre about any health issue (if they face any)
