National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2020 result anytime soon now at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who will qualify JEE Main 2020 exam will be eligible to apply for admission into NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Although NTA has not yet announced the JEE Main result date and time on the official website, the result is expected anytime now.

HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on July 23 has announced the relaxation in the JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria for NITs and CFTIs . According to the relaxed eligibility criteria, to get admission into NITs and CFTIs, JEE Main qualified candidates are now just required to obtain a passing certificate in class 12th examinations irrespective of marks secured.
Earlier, candidates were required to obtain a minimum of 75 percent marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination in order to be eligible for admission into NITs or CFTIs.

Due to prevailing circumstances, Central Seat Allocation Board ( #CSAB ) has decided to relax the eligibility criterion for admissions to NITs and other #CFTIs .

What are the subject/subjects combination for admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs?
In order to be eligible for admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, candidates must have passed qualifying examination with the following subject combinations:

B.Tech/ B.E - Physics, Mathematics, Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject),

B.Arch - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

B.Plan - Mathematics
NTA conducted JEE Main 2020 from September 1 to 6. Candidates who have secured the top 2,50,000 rank in JEE Main rank list will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020.
