After the cancellation of Class 12 board exams , it is now expected that the decision on the new exam dates of JEE Main 2021 for the upcoming sessions will be announced soon, according to an India Today report.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the new exam dates of JEE Main 2021 sessions on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the postponement notice of JEE Main May 2021 exam , students will be informed about the exam dates at least 15 days before the exam.
The official NTA notice stated, “The revised dates for the May Session will be announced later on and will be announced at least 15 days before the exam. The registration for the May Session will also be announced at a later stage. The rescheduling of the April and May sessions will be done subsequently.”
This year, the NTA decided to conduct JEE Main in four sessions (February/ March/ April/ May) due to the pandemic situation. JEE Main 2021 February and March sessions were successfully conducted. However, the JEE Main 2021 April and May sessions have been postponed due to the increasing COVID-19 cases.
JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating state governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs.
