NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main result 2022 for session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates appeared for the exam can download the JEE Mains result and scorecard in online mode. NTA will release the JEE Main cutoff 2022 along with the IIT JEE result session 2. However, provided below is the expected JEE Main 2022 cutoff for each category separately.

The expected cutoff for JEE Mains 2022 is created based on difficulty level and previous years cutoff trends. Candidates must note that the qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff are different. The qualifying JEE Main cutoff is the minimum marks required to qualify the exam while admission cutoff is minimum marks required to get admission in an institute. Factors affecting JEE Main cutoff

The following factors will be considered while creating the JEE Main 2022 cutoff:

  • Number of candidates appeared for the exam

  • Number of seats available

  • Difficulty level of JEE Main 2022 exam

  • Previous year JEE Main cutoff trends

For the admission purpose, candidates have to qualify both the qualifying cutoff as well as admission cutoff. The JEE Main scores will be used for admission in 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIIT and 29 GFTIs.
