JEE Main 2022 Counselling: Last year’s NIT Trichy cut-offs for BTech programmes

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli, also known as NIT Trichy, is one of the most sought-after NITs for admissions to BTech programmes. Usually, NIT Trichy closes admissions to various BTech programmes at a high cut-off in comparison to other NITs. Last year, the highest cut-off at which NIT Trichy closed admission for the unreserved category was 714 to BTech Computer Science programme for students outside Tamil Nadu. The cut-off list is prepared on the basis of JEE Main scores and rank list.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Mains result 2022 on August 8. While the NIT Trichy cut-off list 2022 has not been announced yet, students can check last year’s cut-offs for different BTech programmes to get an idea.

JEE Main 2022: Previous year’s NIT Trichy cut-offs

Six rounds of JoSAA counselling were held last year and the home and outside closing ranks of the unreserved category for top BTech programmes Engineering admission at NIT Trichy are given below.

Students will have to register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2022 for taking admission into the BTech courses at various NITs. The JoSAA counselling 2022 registration will start after the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. JEE advanced 2022 will be held on August 28 for admission to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

NTA conducted the JEE Main 2022 exam in two sessions this year. A total of 24 candidates have scored perfect 100 score in JEE Main 2022.
