JEE Main 2022: NTA drops 6 questions in answer key; more than one answer for 5 questions

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has dropped six questions and revealed that there is more than one correct answer for five questions in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 exam. NTA released the JEE Main 2022 answer key for session 2 today, August 7. Candidates can download the provisional final answer key of BE, BTech (paper 1) from the JEE Main website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2022 Answer Key: Dropped questions

The following questions have been dropped by the NTA in the JEE 2022 answer key.

NTA informed that marks will not be awarded for these dropped questions. However, if it is a numerical value question, then four marks will be given to those who attempted the question, says NTA.

JEE Main Final Answer Key 2022 - How to download

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to download the JEE Main 2022 answer key.

  • Go to the NTA JEE Main official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the "JEE Main Final Answer Key" link.
  • Enter credentials such as application number, date of birth and security pin.
  • JEE Main 2022 answer key will appear on the screen.
  • Download the JEE Main answer key 2022 PDF.

JEE Main 2022 July paper 1 for BE, BTech was held by NTA between July 25 and 30 in two shifts -- from 9 am to 12 pm, and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
