JEE Main Admit Card 2023: NTA JEE Mains Hall Ticket Soon

JEE Main 2023 mock test is available on the mobile app ‘National Test Abhyas’. NTA launched the app for free for candidates to take the mock test for free.

• The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and others.
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. 
• Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
• Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country is recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
• A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
• Candidates who have completed the Class 12 or equivalent exam outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 exam.
• In case the Class 12 exam is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination earlier.

• Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021 and 2022 or those who are appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023. 
• Candidates who passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2020 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2024 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023.

NTA will hold the JEE Main 2023 exam at around 424 exam centres throughout the country including 25 cities outside India.

The JEE Main 2023 exam hall ticket will be made available soon on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

The JEE Main 2023 session 1 for the first attempt is scheduled to be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 2023. NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2023 admit card soon on the its official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA will adopt different marking scheme for BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning papers. Here's how JEE Mains 2023 applicants will be marked.

According to the dates announced in the JEE Main 2023 information brochure, the NTA is expected to update the candidates with the JEE Main city allotment soon.

The JEE Mains 2023 syllabus for paper 2

Part 2: Aptitude Test

Unit 1: Awareness of persons. Buildings, Materials

Unit 2: 3-Dimensional perceptions

Part 3: Drawing Test

JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu languages.

JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in the following modes: 

a) Paper 1 (BE /BTech) in computer-based test (CBT) mode only. 

b) Paper 2A (BArch): Mathematics (Part 1) and Aptitude Test (Part 2) in computer-based test (CBT) mode only and Drawing Test (Part 3) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size. 

c) Paper 2B (B Planning): Mathematics (Part 1), Aptitude Test (Part 2), and Planning-Based Questions (Part 3) in computer-based test (CBT) mode only.

NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 exam city intimation slip for session 2 soon. The exam city intimation will contain the name of the exam city allotted to the candidates. To check the allotted JEE main exam city, candidates will need their application number and date of birth.

• Then click on NTA JEE Main admit card 2023 link.
• Enter the login details and click on submit.
• The admit card will appear on the screen.

The JEE Main 2023 session 1 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 2023.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Mains admit card 2023 soon. The JEE Mains admit card release date is January third week. 

According to JEE Main 2023 information brochure, the JEE Mains admit card 2023 for January session was scheduled to release in the third week of January 2023. Once released, the candidates can download their JEE Main hall ticket from the official website-- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Mains 2023 syllabus with weightage is available on the NTA official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA will preserve the records of aspirants appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main 2023 up to 90 days from the date of declaration of result. Candidates will be able to access their JEE Main result, application form and others during the stipulated timeline.

The jeemain.nta.nic.in will host the JEEMain admit card session 1 2023.

The official website jeemain.nta.nic.in will host the JEE Main admit card 2023 link. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main session 1 admit card using their application number, date of birth and password.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) which administers JEE Main will release the JEE centre allotment list for the engineering aspirants. The NTA city allotment list will enable the JEE Main January 2023 aspirants to plan their travel to exam centre.

As per JEE Mains 2023 exam dates, the JEE hall ticket will be made available on the third week of January 2023.

To download and access the jeemain.nta.nic.in admit card 2023, candidates will have to key in credentials including the application number, dates of birth and passwords.

NTA on the direction of the ministry of education has set up a network of Test Practice Centres for candidates, especially in remote and rural areas to enable them to practice and be comfortable with taking a Computer Based Test (CBT). This facility is completely free of cost. Candidates can register online (on the NTA website) where they are provided a convenient TPC near their location to practice on a given computer node. This facilitates the process of being able to take a Computer Based Test (CBT).

JEE Main admit card 2023 session 1 will include the following details of candidates

• Candidate's name
• JEE Main application number
• JEE Main roll number
• Candidate's photograph and signature
• Exam date, reporting time, shift timings
• Exam centre name and address
• Exam day instructions

Candidates taking Class 12th exams this year are saying that their Class 12 practical, pre-board exam and JEE Main January 2023 session exam dates clash and therefore want the JEE Main 2023 exams be postponed. However, a recent Bombay High Court order said that the JEE exams set to be held between January 24 and 31 cannot be postponed.

Question: Is JEE Main session 1 admit card released?

Answer: The JEE Main session 1 admit card is not released yet.

The NTA will soon release the JEE Main admit card 2023 on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download their hall ticket using the following credentials:

• JEE application form
• Date of birth
• Password

Candidates are allowed to carry only the following item with them into the examination venue: 

• JEE Main admit card
• Self-declaration (undertaking) duly filled in
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), if required
• Personal transparent water bottle
• Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam on from January 24 to January 31 in two shifts. The first shift for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The first shift for Paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning (both) will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The JEE Main 2023 marking scheme for MCQs will be the following:

• For the correct answer or the most appropriate answer, candidates will be awarded four marks (+4).
• For an incorrect answer, there is a penalty of minus one mark (-1).
• In case a question is left unanswered or marked for review, no mark (0) will be given.

JEE Main 2023 marking scheme for questions for which the answer is a Numerical value will be the following:

• Candidates will be awarded four marks (+4) for each correct answer.
• One mark (-1) will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• No mark (0) will be awarded in case a question is left unanswered or marked for review.

The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam is from January 24 to January 31 and the session 2 is from April 6 to April 12.

NTA has revised the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2023. Students who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the NITs, and IITs and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

The All India Students' Union (AISU) said that it has submitted a memorandum for the postponement of JEE Main 2023, removal of 75% eligibility criteria and compensatory attempt for 2020 and 2021 candidates.

Question: Can a candidate be allotted another city as different as the one filled during the application?

Answer:  If the number of candidates opting for a city as centre with a regional language is less than a certain minimum, candidates may be allotted Centre in another city irrespective of the city opted by the candidates for appearing in the examination an NTA statement said.
