NEW DELHI: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 registration will begin soon on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to apply for JEE Mains 2023 April session by using their credentials. Last date to apply for JEE 2023 session 2 is March 7. JEE Main 2023 session 2 will be held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 latest updates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the JEE Main 2023 session 1 result for paper 1 (BE, BTech) on February 6. 20 candidates scored a 100 percentile in BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2023 January session. 8.6 lakh candidates registered in this year’s JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam of which, 8,23,967 students appeared in the first session.

JEE Main result 2023 cut off for General category is expected to be 87-90 percentile.
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 75 per cent marks in Class 12 board exams. For reserved categories, the minimum score is 65 per cent, as per the JEE Main eligibility marks in 12th Class.

While announcing the opening date of JEE session 2 application, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main 2023 registration last date.
JEE Main percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The JEE Main marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which announced that the JEE 2nd attempt registration would begin on February 7, is yet to open the JEE Main 2023 registration portal.
The NTA in an official statement explained that the NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained. "NTA Scores are normalized scores across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees,” the official statement said.
The JEE Main 2023 session 2 registration link will be made active at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA is conducting JEE Mains 2023 twice this year. The first session was held from January 24 to February 1, while JEE Main session 2 will be held on April 6-12, 2023.

As per JEE 2023 dates, the JEE Mian session 2 exam dates are April 6 to 12.

The NTA was supposed to start the JEE Main session 2 registration on February 7. But there is no update on the registration link on the jeemain.nta.nic.in website till now.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the JEE Main paper 2 result.
The IIT JEE Main April 2023 registration date, according to NTA, was scheduled between February 7 and March 7. However, the JEE Main session 2 application window is not opened yet.

NTA will soon begin the JEE Main 2023 session 2 registrations. Candidates will be able to fill out the JEE Main session 2 application form through the official website-- jeemain.nta.nic.in till March 7, 2023.

The NTA relaxed the 75 percent criterion and announced students who have scored 75 percent marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.
Aspirants should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE, BTech paper of JEE Main 2023. "The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all," says the JEE Advanced 2023 official website.

Candidates who have passed the class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2023 examination.

Based on the result candidates can get admission into various NITs, GFTIs and other JEE Main 2023 participating institutes.
JEE Main 2023 session-1 was held in about 574 centers in 287 cities, including 17 cities outside India.
Tie breaker guidelines: These guidelines come into effect when two or more candidates obtain equal percentile scores. The inter-se-merit- is determined in the order given as follows-
Candidates must have a score of a minimum of 75 percent marks in class 12 board exams. For reserved categories, the minimum score is 65 percent.

The institute is yet to declare the 2023 cut-off. As per previous year cut-offs, the candidates are required 296-210 JEE Main score for the BTech course.

For admission into IIT's Computer Science course, candidates are required to have a rank less than 100 in JEE Main entrance test.
The JEE Main cut-off 2023 for admissions into GFTIs has not been released yet. NTA will release a common qualifying cutoff after which JoSAA will release institute-wise cutoff marks for admissions.
The expected JEE Main cutoff of year 2023 for general categories is around 70-75 marks. Candidates must also have a score of a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 board exams.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit card will be available for download in the last week of March 2023.
The shift 1 of JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the shift 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

"Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate for the same Session(s) will not be accepted and will lead to the cancellation of his/her result," said NTA in the JEE Main 2023 information bulletin.
Candidates will be to apply for NEET PG 2023 from February 9 (3 pm onwards) and for NEET MDS 2023 from February 10 (3 pm onwards).

CBSE has issued the Class 10, 12 admit card for 2022-2023 academic session, today. The heads of schools can download the CBSE admit card 2023 from the official website, cbse.gov.in using their school login ID and password. Students appearing for the CBSE Board 10th, 12th exam 2023 can collect the admit card from their respective schools.
